You know Facebook Adds More Business Oriented Tools To The Platform

Facebook has recently announced a slew of new "personalized experience" features, to help businesses on the platform deliver overall better customer care.

The updates were revealed by a blog post made on the Facebook for Business website. The social network's always been friendly towards businesses large and small alike, adding sub-platforms such as the Facebook Marketplace and Shops to the mix, while also setting up options like standardized messages for customer care. It's all part of Facebook's attempts to further monetize itself by providing monetization options for its community. Even Instagram lets brands and businesses sell their products on the platform. WhatsApp's also recently got a number of features specifically built in to cater more towards businesses. The Facebook company is pro-healthy business on its platform, even if it is decidedly pro-monopoly outside of it.

So, what are the features we're looking forward to? Well, the first is something called a click-to-message ad option. While businesses and the like typically add their contact details to a sponsored post, encouraging users to contact them, click-to-message ads use Facebook's own AI to add the information itself. The system will detect what form of online messaging is preferred by the brand in question, and advertise that to the general public when sponsored of course. Furthermore, the click-to-message will also be implemented into WhatsApp, allowing users to add such a button on to their Instagram profiles.

Facebook also reveals that it has further plans for Instagram and WhatsApp. Advertisements are being worked on for the former that, once clicked upon, will take you to the latter one in a very convenient manner. Another new feature that Facebook is adding is the ability for a business to ask its customers 4 to 5 questions. This is also a feature that, other than helping develop a brand's exclusion criteria, also removes much of the early discussion that happens through online transactions.

In another interesting addition to Pages on the platform, Facebook has introduced a new Podcasts feature! With the medium being as popular as it is right now, everyone wants to cash in on them. A recent example can be found in Twitter's Spaces, which is a live take on the podcast format. At any rate, your personal Pages can now display podcasts on it, all compiled under a new tab on the page itself.
